PTA

Welcome to Kings Norton Primary School PTA

Our school is supported by an active and enthusiastic parent & teacher association (PTA)! We raise thousands of pounds per year to support our school to continue to provide the best facilities and resources we possibly can to keep supporting our children. And we have fun!

The PTA is a voluntary organisation that is made up of a committee and a number of active members. Anyone is welcome to join and support us in our goals.

Our Aim: To advance the education, the environment and the opportunities of the children at Kings Norton Primary School through fun and profitable fundraising activities

Our Core Values:

The PTA always welcomes and encourages new members, to ensure there is a breadth of representative opinions from all year groups and also to capitalise on the talents, skills and experience of our parents and staff.

Meeting new people, knowing more about what goes on in Kings Norton Primary, having a say in how money should be allocated, and making a difference to our children’s’ experience at school are just some of the benefits you will gain by being involved with our PTA.

Our meetings are open to everyone, so why not come along to one and listen to the range of topics being discussed – you can contribute as much or as little as you wish and chose to get involved as much or as little as you like. Our meetings are informal and relaxed, with refreshments usually provided, and held monthly. Dates of forthcoming meetings, as well as minutes of previous meetings are published on this website (hyperlink please on ‘website’ to minutes and meetings section)

If you would like any other information regarding the PTA, are interested in joining or have suggestions or ideas about fund-raising, please do not hesitate to contact any of the PTA Committee or you can contact us via our social networking links.

We very much look forward to your support over the coming year.
