At Kings Norton our aim is for all children to reach their full potential. Whilst most children are able to do this through high quality class teaching and our usual curriculum, some children need additional support and are considered to have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).

All procedures are in line with the 2015 SEN Code of Practice and supporting guidance from the DfE relating to:

• Section 69 of the Children & Families Act 2014

• Paragraph 3 of Schedule 10 to the Equality Act 2010

• Regulation 51 of the SEND Regulations 2014

• Schedule 1 of the SEND Regulations 2014

• Section 6 of the SEN Code of Practice 0-25 years 2015
