Reception Class

Places are offered for Reception class by the Local Authority. Children in Birmingham can start school (Reception) in the September after their 4th birthday. Parents can apply for a place in the autumn of the year before their child turns four-years-old.

Open Days at our school are arranged each October/November to enable prospective Reception children and their parents to visit the school.

In-Year School Admissions

If you would like your child to join Kings Norton Primary School from another school, you must provide a completed In-Year School Admission Form, proof of date of birth and proof of address.

Please be aware, your child may not gain automatic entry into the school as we do have waiting lists.
