School uniform consists of:

Children should have the correct uniform each day which includes black shoes or ALL black trainers. Children can wear plain navy jumpers and cardigans to support parents with the cost. Please ensure everything is labelled with permanent pen so we can identify lost items, we always have an incredible amount of clothing unclaimed each year and some items are nearly new. Any items unclaimed by the end of the week can be provided for your child, just come and ask.

Second Hand Uniform

We regularly hold second hand uniform sales/ donations.

We will inform parents of these both by email and on the school’s website. We will also make second-hand available to prospective parents on induction days. If any parent/ family requires a uniform before a sale is arranged please contact the main office or talk to your child’s teacher and we will supply the uniform needed.

PE Uniform

At Kings Norton Primary School, we recognise Physical Education (PE) as a key area of learning within the National Curriculum. Physical activity is integral to the good health of our children and thus, suitable PE kit is essential in ensuring that pupils access the PE National Curriculum to its potential, and participate safely and comfortably in physical activity at School.

We believe that a uniform kit encourages our children to have a sense of belonging to a community and promotes a feeling of pride and equality.

Our optional PE kit can be purchased here on the following website: https://inspiredshop.co.uk Password: KINGSNORTON2024

School Meals

Coombs Catering Partnership is delighted to be your school meal provider. Our home cooked meals are freshly prepared and cooked daily in the school

kitchen using the finest quality ingredients. School lunches are a fantastic way to encourage your child to try new things, learn the correct way to behave properly

during their meal and teach them how to correctly and safely use cutlery.

Throughout the school year we will be organising themed days that could be linked in with school curriculum, promotions, competitions, invite a parent to lunch days and taster sessions. Each child is offered an option of either a traditional homemade meat or vegetarian meal accompanied with seasonal vegetables, daily salad/fruit pots, freshly baked bread, dessert or yoghurt.
